Suzy Phillips MSc, BEd

Suzy has over 20 years experience in developing individuals, teams and organisations. She runs her own consultancy organisation, Creative Connexions providing a broad focus covering individual, team and organisational development including: Coaching, Mentoring, Action Learning, Team Building, Skills Development, Experiential Learning and Creative Thinking, Selection and Assessment work, Change Management, Change Agent and Leadership Development.

Suzy previously worked as a management consultant and trainer in several NHS organisations and chiefly as a Senior Consultant at Salomons. Prior to that she was an HR Manager and Regional Development Adviser, leading teams in large organisations and delivering development interventions. Her client base has included technology organisations, charities, housing associations, councils, GP practices, National Association of Primary Care Trusts, NHS leadership Centre, NHS Trusts from across the country.

Suzy has a Masters degree in Management Development from Roffey Park and is IPD qualified. She is a member of the British Psychological Society, certificated in using psychometric tools such as Myers Briggs, Transactional Analysis and the Margerison McCann Team Management System. Suzy has undergone training in NLP and is also accredited to provide the NHS Leadership Qualities Framework and 360-feedback tool designed by Hay and Right Coutts.

In 2003, Suzy was accredited by the NHS Leadership Centre and NatPaCT, to facilitate transformational change action learning sets. These sets were established for Directors and Chief Executives, leading the implementation of huge systems and organisational change.

The difference she makes is her insight about people development and the support she gives individuals, to enable their growth and encourage personal responsibility for development and learning. Suzy particularly enjoys introducing creative techniques to help others increase understanding of their strengths and development areas and reflecting on how to move forward. She is a keen potter, artist and plays the piano and guitar. She enjoys creative writing and is currently researching and writing a book on creativity in the development of others and ourselves. www.creativeconnexions.org.uk
