Louise is a Barrister by training specialising mainly in aspects of practical employment law, in company law and professional negligence. She has published widely in leading academic and professional journals.
Since 1987, Louise has been continuously involved in training and consultancy, both for professional firms and for commercial organisations. Until recently she also worked as an associate senior lecturer at the University of Portsmouth where she was mainly engaged on postgraduate teaching on the MBA, MA Personnel Management and MA Business Law. She still retains an association with the University which has led to teaching for Institute of Personnel Management Courses in Jersey and for the Cayman Islands Government.
Clients to whom she has provided professional training have included Kingston Smith, BKR Haines Watts, BDO Stoy Hayward, Baker Tilly, the Association of International Accountants and numerous other professional firms as well as the British Postgraduate Medical Federation, the Swedish Ministry of Justice, the Royal Aircraft Establishment and a number of NHS hospitals. Commercial clients have included Sclumberger plc, Sema Atos, Pret a Manger, IPC Media, Scott Bader, Philip Morris, Swarovski, Scicon plc, Brannigans, Leisure Parcs, and Southern Water, as well as many smaller firms.
Suzy has worked as a consultant for over 25 years in the development of individuals, teams and organisations including facilitation of events for a range of organisations across the country including the NHS, Local Government, Charity, Manufacturing and Technology sectors.
Prior to her consultancy role, she had a career in Management Development and Human Resources within the NHS at Regional and Trust level. Suzy specialises in people development, which includes design and facilitation of leadership development, change management, accredited programmes, groups and action learning sets, assessment processes using competencies, and skills training workshops. She is also an experienced facilitator of groups and action learning sets and Executive Coach and Mentor. She is an ILM approved provider of endorsed, development and national qualification programmes in leadership.
Qualification wise Suzy has a Masters in Management Development and is qualified in a wide range of psychometric tools for selection, team and coaching purposes. She is completing a Diploma in Executive Coaching with AoEC.
Sue is a Leadership Coach and Development Facilitator whose vision is to help individuals and teams access, and use, their true potential to enhance personal and organisational performance. She has over 20 years European senior management experience in Sales, Marketing and Software Development working for blue-chip organisations including Syntegra (BT), Digital and ICL.
Sue specialises in leadership, personal and team development and change, creativity, advanced coaching and influencing skills. She works with senior managers and executives, teams and individuals in a variety of organisations including Glaxo Smith Kline, HP, IBM, Oracle, BT, and Nationwide. She is qualified in NLP as a Master Practitioner and as an NLP Psychotherapist. Sue is also an accredited facilitator for the ASE Emotional Intelligence 360° psychometric profile, Stephen Covey's '7 Habits of Highly Effective People' and in the Team Management System which is used to create High-Performing Teams in many global organisations.
